第八十一章　 為而不爭(zhēng)
信言不美，美言不信。 善者不辯，辯者不善。知者不博，博者不知。 圣人不積，既以為人己愈有，既以與人己愈多。天之道，利而不害。圣人之道，為而不爭(zhēng)。

Acting Without Dominating

Sincere words are not sweet, Sweet words are not sincere.

Wise men don't need to debate; men who need to debate are notwise.

Those who know are not erudite,

those who are erudite do not know.

Enlightened Individuals do notaccumulate,

The more he does for others, the more he is satisfied; The morehe gives, the more he receives.

The Tao is to manifest, nourisheswithno harm.

The way of Enlightened Individuals

is to accomplish，but  do notcontendto dominate。

誠(chéng)實(shí)可信的言詞淳樸而不華麗，華麗的言詞并不誠(chéng)信。善良的人不用巧辯，能言善辯的人不善良。真正悟道的人不賣(mài)弄后天的多學(xué)，賣(mài)弄博學(xué)智巧的人沒(méi)有體悟宇宙的大道。悟道的樂(lè)德施善，不會(huì)執(zhí)著于過(guò)多的擁有，為別人付出而自己更富有，他們盡力施與別人，而自己所得愈多。自然之道造福萬(wàn)物而不妄加傷害。
