第七十七章  動(dòng)態(tài)平衡


天之道,其猶張弓與?高者抑之,下者舉之,有馀者損之,不足者補(bǔ)之。 天之道,損有馀而補(bǔ)不足。人之道則不然,損不足以奉有馀。
孰能有馀以奉天下,唯有道者。 是以圣人為而不恃,功成而不處,其不欲見(jiàn)賢。

The Tao innature

is likethe bending of a bow.

The top isbent down,

the bottomis raised up.

It adjustsexcess and deficiency to keep a perfect balance.

The Way of heaven takes fromthose who have too much and gives to those who do not have enough. The humanway is different. It takes from those who do not have enough and gives to thosewho have too much.

Who thencan use excess to serve the world?

Thoseenlightened individuals who lives in the Tao.

ThereforeEnlightened individuals act without expectation,

He accomplishes his task, butdoes not claim credit for it. and have no desire to dispaly their excellence.

 

 

 

[譯文]

自然規(guī)律不就如同拉弓射箭一樣嗎?弓身高了,就把它壓低一點(diǎn),低了,就把它拉高一些。弓弦繃得的過(guò)緊就把它放松點(diǎn),若過(guò)松就拉緊一點(diǎn)。自然規(guī)律,削減有余來(lái)補(bǔ)充不足而達(dá)到和諧平衡??扇祟惖默F(xiàn)實(shí)生活卻相反,壓榨剝奪不足生活的百姓,去供奉豐衣足食的富有者。

誰(shuí)能富裕奉獻(xiàn)給普天下的百姓呢?唯有悟道的圣人。

真正悟道的人才能有所作為而不自居,為民建功立業(yè)而不自傲,他無(wú)意展示個(gè)人的賢能。
