第五十四章  德普天下

善建者不拔，善抱者不脫，子孫以祭祀不輟。 修之于身，其德乃真；修之于家，其德乃馀；修之于鄉(xiāng)，其德乃長；修之于國，其德乃豐；修之于天下，其德乃普。故以身觀身，以家觀家，以鄉(xiāng)觀鄉(xiāng)，以國觀國，以天下觀天下。吾何以知天下然哉？以此。

Peace in Universe

He who is well established in the Tao will not be rooted up,

He who has a firm grasp of Tao cannot be separated from it.

Thus from generation to generation his ancestral sacrifice will be honoured forgenerations.

When the virtues from Tao  are cultivated in a person, he becomes genuinevirtue. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in a family, the family becomesabundant. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in a community, thecommunity becomes lasting. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in a country,the nation becomes prospeous. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in theworld, the globe becomes harmonious.

Cultivate it in the world, And it will become universal.

Therefore: According to the virtues from Tao, judge the personalityof the individual; According to the virtues from Tao, judge the family traditon;According to the virtues from Tao , judge the village customs; According to thevirtues from Tao, judge the harmony of the state ; According to the virtuesfrom Tao, judge the current level of human pure consciousness enlightenment.

How do I know about the world? By the root to the universalintelligence within me.

善于建德基者根基穩(wěn)固，善于守道業(yè)者永不松懈，所以子孫厚德祭祀永續(xù)。以宇宙之大德修身養(yǎng)性，個體既能得到真德滋養(yǎng)輔佑。以德修家，家庭就富足；以德治鄉(xiāng)，鄉(xiāng)里安定長久；以德治國，國強民富；德行天下，就會普惠萬物眾生。因此，以德來推斷人品，以德來推斷家風(fēng)，以德來推斷鄉(xiāng)里的風(fēng)氣，以德來推斷國家的文化根基，以德來推斷天人的和諧。

我怎么知道天下井然有序呢？ 就是以無形的道德來觀察有形的萬物顯現(xiàn)，由內(nèi)在的“小宇宙”觀外在的“大宇宙”。
