Along with Chinese economy walking to the center of the world economic
stage at a great momentum and Chinese economy and market acquiring a global
leadership position. Chinese foreign-related companies and managers no longer have
to largely adapt to foreigners and foreign cultures but may also need to
enhance new cross-cultural leadership skills in order to confidently influence
and highly competently lead cross-cultural teams

pace than that of other countries, Western
economies and markets with America’s as
the core might be losing its global leadership position. Economic basis
determines superstructure, Chinese culture will be more influential and

For many years before, Chinese have been at a stance of being led and
influenced in terms of Chinese-western cross-cultural economic or business
cooperation.
However, now It is almost essential for cross-cultural managers to
integrate Chinese culture such as “The highest good is like that of water” into
cross-cultural leadership to acquire powerful wining abilities at this coming
new era.

cross-cultural leadership skills” to cope with the new challenges which

Cross-cultural leadership is also a very basic ability for every a
Chinese university student, since the world now and in the future is inter
netting all around. It is a village that “not only cannot be separated but also
cannot be got sorted”, where all sorts of cultures clash and mix and Chinese
culture will be an influential and leading positon
